Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):


An Area Operational Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing operational activities within a specific geographic region.


Main Activities/Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to meet operational objectives within the designated area.
  • Collaboration: Work in partnership with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of operational staff, ensuring efficient collaboration and high performance. Also, take responsibility for the development of the team.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving operational processes and implement efficiency measures.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands and achieve organizational goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that operational activities meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to align operational activities with overall business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Communication: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on operational activities and address concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the operational team, fostering innovation and adaptation to industry best practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance multiple priorities to achieve operational excellence in the specified area.
