Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, a global manufacturer and distributor of medical products, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Sidhil Group Limited, effective January 6, 2017. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

 

Sidhil Group Limited has proudly designed and manufactured healthcare products in the U.K. for over 130 years, currently at its state-of-the-art, 105,000-square-foot facility in Halifax, West Yorkshire and with a nationwide Service Centre network. The Company is a worldwide manufacturer of hospital and long-term care beds, pressure prevention products and a range of aids to daily living, and is a leading provider to the homecare, acute care and long-term care markets in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe. Drive DeVilbiss Acquires Leading DME Brands from AMG Medical

Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, a global manufacturer of medical products, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Drive Medical Canada, has acquired the mobility and bathroom safety DME brand business of AMG Medical, effective October 17, 2016. 

These brands —Hugo®, Profilio®, AquaSense®, and Airgo®— represent the premier DME brands in Canada and are marketed and distributed to all major wholesalers, pharmacies and homecare dealers throughout Canada.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

During a ninety-day transition period, Drive Medical Canada and the acquired AMG brands will operate independently until the businesses are seamlessly integrated.

The acquisition of the four brands will enhance Drive’s market position in Canada, and provide Drive with innovative, patented mobility and bathroom safety products that are recognized for their high quality, safety and reliability.  Drive will continue AMG’s history of product and design innovation.

As of 1st August 2016 Drive Medical will change its name to Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare.


This is a change Drive have planned for many months following the
acquisition of Park House Healthcare and DeVilbiss Healthcare last year, with the aim of simplifying our approach for Customers and reviewing any duplication of processes and contact points. This will allow us to provide an integrated service
to our Customers, remove any inter-company barriers and enable
us to organise our departments in more efficient ways to
maximise service levels to our customers.


Over time you will notice a change in branding for our products,

Drive Medical announced that it has completed its largest acquisition to date, acquiring DeVilbiss Healthcare from Vestar Capital Partners effective July 2, 2015.  The acquisition provides Drive, one of the fastest growing manufacturers of durable medical equipment, with one of the most valued brands in the respiratory and sleep categories in the healthcare industry.   Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

DeVilbiss is a global manufacturer of respiratory and sleep products distributed in more than 80 countries throughout the world.  The principal corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities of DeVilbiss are located in Somerset, PA, with distribution centers located throughout North America, as well as in France, Germany, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Australia and China.  The Company has a legacy of innovation that Drive will look to build upon.

In the short term, Drive and DeVilbiss will operate independently as they work to seamlessly integrate the two companies in the Americas.  Upon completion of the integration, the new company will be known as Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, Inc.  In the rest of the world, Drive and DeVilbiss will continue to operate as independent entities.

The successful acquisition of a Days Healthcare range of products and associated brands is now complete.

 

Drive Medical Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Drive Medical, is pleased to announce that as of Monday 19th May, the agreement to purchase a range of Days products and associated brands from Patterson Medical is now complete.

The product ranges, previously sold by Patterson Medical under the Days Healthcare brand, include care home beds, community beds, mobility scooters, electric riser recliner chairs, hoists, powered and configured wheelchairs. The product brands acquired by Drive Medical include Casa (beds and hoists), ST (scooters), Seren, Volt and Multego (powered wheelchairs) and Serena (riser recliner chairs). In addition to the product ranges and brands, Drive Medical has also acquired the ex-Days Healthcare site in Bridgend.

Welland is one of the largest manufacturers of homecare equipment and mobility products in the UK, which maintains all manufacturing, sourcing and development in the UK. The success of Welland has been built on its reputation for just-in-time supply of quality products and a high level of customer service. Welland has successfully grown its business through consistent delivery and service to the government sector in the UK.

According to Chairman and CEO of Drive, Harvey Diamond, “this acquisition expands our position as a global manufacturer and distributor of durable medical equipment and provides increased manufacturing capacity and more diversified design capabilities in Europe.”
