Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):

To support contracts and capital customers with the aim of improving the customer experience. To co- ordinate, manage and undertake audits, preparing and presenting results data. To deliver both pre -sale and post-sale product support/training across DDH product areas and market sectors with a focus on key feature and benefit presentation and associated technical and clinical advantage. This role will require an expert knowledge of the full product range. The role will include all aspects of sales support from basic awareness presentations and/or demonstrations through to train the trainer and facilitator level training. The role will require, when necessary, to support/cover the associated Sales team for any product demonstrations/ Equipment review Group (ERG’s)/evaluations/exhibitions/pre- or post- implementation product training. Travel will be required across the UK with coverage in Ireland at times. The role will also require extensive coverage at major accounts/contracts.

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

The role is for a driven, customer facing individual with technical and commercial awareness. The candidate will need to have excellent demonstration/presentation skills with strong organisation and time management. Ideally, the role is for an enthusiastic, personable, dedicated individual who is confident in presenting to individuals and large groups of people.

The ideal candidate will have a keen desire to progress within the sales function. The successful candidate may be from a technical, commercial or clinical background.

  • To facilitate sales support, product training/demonstration and audit requirements across the UK in conjunction with the associated sales teams/individuals
  • To prepare and present training/demonstrations/audits undertaken and feedback to associated DDH staff and customers
  • To build relationships with customers and be customer focused when delivering training/demonstrations/presentations/audits
  • To prioritise the sales support/training/demonstration/audit needs in relation to the business case
  • Responsible for ensuring all planning and preparations prior to an audit is carried out via appropriate communications with the relevant DDH staff and customer base and guaranteeing resulting audit carried out to customers satisfaction
  • Maintain Knowledge of competitor products, the key features and benefits and define sales arguments to position DDH against these
  • To maintain an awareness of product changes, information, latest industry guidelines and standards
  • To support product evaluations and equipment reviews when required in relation to the business requirement
  • To support product field-based trials when required and support new product design trials
  • Assist in maintaining and expanding existing customer database through customer/market feedback.
  • Prepare a monthly report focused on role successes and circulate report to relevant managers
  • Utilise service and market knowledge on a consultative basis, to support the sales and commercial team with service pricing guidance and strategy.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience would be of an advantage for this type of role, but full training will be given to exceptional individuals with no or limited experience

  • The ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
